Deployment #1

Justin has been gone about a week now and let's just say this has been the longest week ever! I know right now it all seems so long but I'll look back in 7 months and wonder where the time went? My friends husband's are all coming home soon and I remember when they left and it sure hasn't seemed that long ago! I'm just hoping it also all goes quickly for me as well! I did a lot better than I thought I would have when he left! I imagined I would be a cry baby drama queen but I stayed strong for my man! Now I am here waiting for his return and can't wait to see him and hold him again! He is the best thing that ever happened to me and I thank God everyday for putting him in my life.

When he first left, we were able to have quiet a bit of contact from him stopping at airports and stuff to be able to get on the internet and use Skype (webcam&voice) But now that he is where he's suppose to be, they are so limited to everything when it comes to contact. (all you Military girls with husbands that have been deployed know exactly what I mean) I look forward to hearing his voice everyday and the times that I do, it always makes my days a million times better! He called this morning and told me that he got promoted to Corporal yesterday! I am so proud of him and excited that he picked up! I can't wait till he comes home so we can finally be together again, although no matter where he is, he's always in my heart!
