HOORAY!

for checking off the list of a few larger baby items we needed! :)

We have been going back and forth on nursery furniture since we found out we were expecting and finally this past week I found the most beautiful set and one of my major +++ it was on SALE!

We actually bought the crib yesterday so it will be here in 7-10 days but only ordered the dresser and changing table and put it on layaway so we will be able to go back on the 15th and get it! :) I'm soooo happy and anxious to get it all in her room and set up! Plus, I've been really bummed that all the baby stuff I got from her shower has been just sitting in her room and not touched! It's killing me! All I want to do is go in there and organize! LOL Soon enough though, it will all be ready! Then I can post all the pretty photos of her room!!

We also bought her car seat and stroller! We ended up after all getting the Graco travel system! I know, I know, I didn't really want to do that. Justin talked me into it and we decided together that it was our best bet considering money. I LOVE the pattern and I will learn to love the stroller. I mean, yeah it's a big stroller but once I got it home and looked at it, I don't think it's that bad. So we'll see!

Honestly, I feel very, very relieved to now have these items because I'm not going to lie, I've been stressing out just thinking about something not getting here in time or something not working out for us! What can I say? I am a worrier, for sure. LOL

baby baby baby...

I am having the worst luck with all things baby right now! We got tons of gift cards from Abby's shower and we are using them to get our 'larger' items. Justin and I spent all afternoon/night last night in Babies R Us and Walmart for NOTHING! haha I have to laugh about it because it gets me through it! 

Anyways, we get in BRU and find the pack and play we want ((keep in mind that I have been online for weeks looking just to make sure we get all the right items for her)) & what do you know! It's out of stock and a truck won't be coming in until next Wednesday! Bummer! I'm one of those people that when I see something and know that I'm going to get it, I want it right then, I don't want to wait another week before I can get it! I have the money now, and I want it!!! 

Not to mention, they also don't have any cute infant seats in store. :/ & the only cute ones they even have online that I like, you have to buy in the travel system and get that big, bulky, ugly Graco stroller to push around too! 

Unfortunately, I think I am going to have to settle with ^^^ that because we can't afford the stroller we really want. As a matter of fact, we can't even afford the car seat we really want! lol I'm not saying Graco products are bad, I actually know that they are great products and everyone I know loves them, except for the big stroller part. I guess that's my thing, I just don't want that stroller. & I don't like the tray across the front. So we'll see. 

^^^ If I could have any stroller, this would be it. It is a 2010 Bumbleride Flyer. I would definitely get the seagrass color though that way it could be used if baby #2 is a boy. 

^^^ My favorite thing about this stroller is that it has the adjustable handles so that you can face the infant towards you while they are little and you can change it up as they get older. 

So, we moved on to Walmart to find our swing! I had already looked online and it is at BRU for $169 but on sale at Walmart for $137...and what do you know again...it's OUT OF STOCK! 

^^^ I love the fact that this swing, well 1. it's lime green((neutral)) 2. it swings in two different directions, back and forth & side to side, depending on your preference. 3. it includes A/C adapter or takes batteries. 

So, that's it for now with the baby gear. Hopefully, we'll get to go back soon and they will have more to choose from and IN STOCK items! Wish us luck! ((we'll need it))
