Santa, Reindeer & a Candy Cane

Today Mama & Dada took Abby the little Elf...

...to see Santa for the first time! She did so good sitting in his lap while he read her good girl wish list...

...and enjoyed pulling at that long white stuff! ;)

She even rode a reindeer or two while we were in Winter Wonderland! (doesn't she look so adorable in those cute little legwarmers that her Mama made for her!?)

Then came home to enjoy her very first taste of Candy Cane that Santa gave her! And, oh did she love it! Very much so!

Tis the Season

...to be Jolly...& decorate!! Fa la la la la, la la la la.

I now can officially start the countdown till Christmas! We put the tree up, decorated inside & out and have popped out the first milk chocolate from our calendar today! :)

sadly, we had to go with our fake pre-lit tree this year! We are going to Tennessee for Christmas so we decided against our usual real tree! but hey, at least we have a tree!! & of course, Abby's first Christmas ornament!

our pretty tree & stockings! & don't get me wrong, I love this time of year, I love Christmas, but I don't like being cold! However, if it's going to be cold, I would at least like to have some snow! So my reply to this Snowman is, "NO, want snow? YES!!" Isn't he handsome though?! 

These calendars are a must & one of my favorite things when it comes to counting down the days till Christmas! Every child should have one! & of course, if you're an adult & enjoy the countdown and the chocolate goodies inside like me, then you should have one too! ;)

and last picture of the night...our lights! I love putting up the Christmas lights outside too! When I was a kid, we would always drive around neighborhoods and look at all the pretty decorated trees & light decorations outside! Great memories and this tradition will definitely continue with my children! 

Now, I am going to go cuddle up with my sweet family and go to sleep! Night yall!
