Hello there, Honey girl, you are 5 months old today!
In the past month you have::
- mastered rolling over from your back to your tummy. You have rolled from your tummy to your back a few times, normally you get stuck and become frustrated after a short while. Then we just roll you back over and let you do your thing.
- begun to enjoy playing with your toys. You reach for everything in front of you, and whatever you can grab ahold of goes straight into your mouth. (while drool, lots of drool, comes out!)
- gotten closer to sitting up. You can stay in a sitting position for about 6 seconds before toppling forward or to the side.
- found your voice. You babble and blow raspberries like it's no ones business. We love hearing you learn new sounds! Oh! and there's an ongoing battle on whether you say "Mama" or "Dada" first! (of course you will say Mama first) Riiiight? ;)
- started eating rice cereal. It's a challenge getting you to eat cereal but we manage to get at least half the bowl in you! The other half is on your face, clothes and hands! You are too funny when you grab the spoon to put it in your mouth.
- smiling whenever we walk into the room or look at you. Makes our hearts melt every time. You have also started crying and noticing whenever we walk out of the room.
- made us proud of you and love you so much more!

You are such a joy and we love and cherish every second we have with you. Please, Abby Kate, stop growing so fast.
