the babbling b
As I sit here, thinking to myself what I am going to write in this blog post, I seriously have came to the conclusion that I have a crap ton of things on my mind! Not that I am going to share everything, just thought that was some necessary info ;)
My daughter is sleeping peacefully upstairs, and my husband is sleeping (probably uncomfortably) in the recliner. I take that back, maybe not uncomfortably, we have a la-z-boy and I find it pretty comfy at naptime! Anyways, he's not sleeping there because he has too, he sleeping there because he fell asleep there and I haven't woke him up to go night night yet! By the end of this, I may be telling you some funny stories because he likes to talk in his sleep at times!
A few quick updates on life, ect... As far as everyday living, we are all doing wonderful, still taking each day one at a time! Still no "new" news on Justin's status in the Marine Corps. I mean, we know we will eventually be moving away from here, we just don't know when. & believe it or not, I am going to be one sad lady the day we do! I honestly don't even want to think about it! Yeah, I wanna get out of this 'not knowing anything/hurry up and wait' stage so we can finally move on and do something with ourselves but leaving the wonderful friends that I have and my house just makes me heart hurt already!
Speaking of friends, the ones I have made here, will always be a part of me (whether they like it or not) No matter where I go. Wait, I have a quote for this..."We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere." --- Tim McGraw
That is especially going out to all my friends who have PCS'd or has hit EAS! Thank goodness for Facebook and blogging so we may all still keep close! I miss you all SO much and I'm very thankful to have you in my life!
While I still have wonderful friends here, I love yall too!! :) I honestly think I am closer to all of our friends here than I am with the friends I grew up with! Which makes it even more harder to think about one day leaving!
I am also trying to mend a friendship that will always mean a lot to me. This is sorta a touchy subject. I'm just gonna go ahead and say it, when you spend everyday with someone, live less than 5 down the street, and work together, pretty much like sisters, the girl is gonna be your best friend. With that, comes stupid fights, more drama than you want and feelings hurt. I've always been told that positive things outweigh the negative. With that said, comes support, love, fun, laughs, you get the point. We are working on it and in the end, I think everything is gonna be alright.
I actually want to continue writing because I'm not finished sayin' all I wanted to say but I don't think I can hold these eyelids open too much longer. So, I am leaving you all with a picture of another onesie I made tonight! Turning into a much craftier person! Not bad, eh? lol
I decided to go with a cursive writing this time (much trickier but it turned out great)

lately.
I truly apologize for my absence lately. I get into the swing of blogging and keeping everyone up-to-date and then something comes along and intervenes causing me to slack off and get behind! LOL
Everything has been going pretty decent I suppose...other than the sleepless nights from headaches, swelling and bh contractions! ((sounds decent enough, huh?)) Sunday was very eventful though in good ways and bad!
First, some friends and I had been planning a "surprise" baby shower for our friend Karla & Miss Cora Elizabeth! Which turned out really great! She's usually the one party planning and surprising everyone else so we decided this time to return the favor! I love that we were able to pull it off and she had no idea! We always have a wonderful time when we get together, eating and gossiping of course! ;)
We even had a delish ice cream cake this time! YUMMY!
& this is the lovely Big Sister, Miss Ava Katherine!
Karla & I @ her shower--both ready to meet our girls!
Soooo, during the shower, I began to feel this tingling sensation in my legs and feet and happened to pull up my jeans to take a peak and of course they are swollen as can be! augh!
Not a pretty sight nor a great feeling!
I had actually never felt swelling throb that bad before so I was very concerned and decided I needed to go into L&D. Better to be safe than sorry!
Here I am laid up in the bed, being monitored and getting my bp checked! ((132/77)) I don't mind this part except when the bp cup squeezes my arm so tight I feel like it's about to fall off! LOL
After about an hour of being on the monitor, and waiting for the urine sample to come back, they tell me everything is fine and sent me home! The lady did ask me if I was spotting/feeling pain when I pee and I honestly hadn't so I told her no, as she goes on to tell me there was some blood in my urine. But wasn't concerned since I wasn't in any pain. I really didn't feel like everything was fine since Tylenol wasn't helping my headache and I hadn't even done much that day for me to be that swollen. :/ Ohhhh, the joys of being pregnant!
At home, propped up, tryin to relax and stay off my feet!
