I mean catch up but I wanted to spell it how I'd say it! Good ole' southern accent ;) gotta love it!
anyways, I'm not going to ramble on too much about what we do 24 hours a day...just a quick update on our lives and random information!
Justin is currently away in California, for the Warrior Games with the Marine Corps. He is competing in the archery & pistol rounds. Right down his alley. It's a pretty cool thing to be a part of and he's having fun so that's all that matters! Wish Abby and I could have tagged along to cheer Dada on but that's okay!
Abby is sleeping peacefully upstairs in her crib. She's such a good sleeper. She is growin' like a weed and changing every second! Still workin' on saying "Mama" which by the way, almost came out today. Or, pretty darn close anyways! I'll take it. She shows me everyday what real love is all about. I can't even begin to describe my love for this sweet girl. It is beautiful. Makes me wanna go grab her up from night night and just hug her till morning. (if you're a Mama, you've had this feeling many, many times)
I am at this very moment, drinking a Dr. Pepper, with a headache, quite bored but yet with a lot of things on my mind. I won't get into that, though. Mainly because I don't want to receive therapist session bills in the mail next week from all of my lovely followers ;) So, I'll just explain the good things and what I'm looking forward to in the next few months---
Justin will return home at the end of the month and then we will do a complete turnaround, pack and head out for our last minute trip to Tennessee. My brother is getting married on March 5th, and Abby, Justin and I are all in the wedding. Not only is this a spur of the moment trip, but it is also a very short trip! Sad face. We never get to go home and just enjoy being there. We are always running around like chickens with their heads cut off, trying to see everyone and do everything possible before having to leave again. Yes, we love being there, but the majority of our time is doin' a lot of runnin'.
The first week of April, one of my best friends, myself and our girls are going on a ROAD TRIP to Virginia to visit another one of our best friends. We have several stops and plans throughout the trip so we are all looking forward to it! It's gonna be fun; I'm sooo excited! (and I just can't hide it...) okay, I'll stop; sorry. oh, & my birthday is in April! WOOHOO!
I am thrilled to announce that I may be possibly announcing this time tomorrow that my sweet, precious nephew has arrived in the crazy world! (with pictures!) Our good friends, Ashley and Travis are hopefully going to be heading to the hospital sometime tonight! Ashley is having strong contractions and only a couple minutes apart! COME ON BABY BRANTLY!!! We can't wait to meet you!!
Last but not least, Abby's 1st birthday party decorations came in the mail today! I swear I was doing the happy dance in front of the UPS man! (sorry, dude!) Haven't you ever been that excited? I thought the online picture was cute but then to see it all in person! ADORABLE! (pink John Deere) Bittersweet (I think I say that a lot) But isn't it the truth!? As happy as I am that her decorations are cute as all get out, it's still sad to think about her turning one already! 4 more short months! Seriously, they weren't kiddin when they said time flies! I will be a hot mess on that day. ((fair warning to all))
and leaving you with some Abigail sweetness---enjoy! (video will come soon, having some technical difficulties) :(

"Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale." - anonymous quotation
October 22nd is a very special day for us. It is our 5 year 'dating' anniversary (yes, I keep up with our dating anni) I am the happiest & luckiest girl in the world to have such an amazing man in my life. He is a very caring and supportive husband as well as a loving, 'wrapped around a little girl's finger' father! I seriously love this man with my whole heart and thank God for him everyday. Happy 5 years to us and forever more!

You find out who your friends are...
I just wanted to say how thankful I am that I don't have a 'girl' best friend. I do have great wonderful girl friends that I really don't know what I'd do without sometimes! & they know who they are.
I'm very proud to say that my best friend happens to also be the wonderful man I married. ((which in my opinion, any woman's BFF should be the love of her life. After all, they are the ones you confide in for everything, you live with, sleep with, share every lil moment with, and trust with your whole heart, he is your companion. Basically, your best friend is everything good you can imagine AND they feel the same way about you. I don't care what anyone tries to say, because I'm sure some people would disagree but girls, seriously, to put it bluntly, are drama. No matter what you did, said, do, say, something gets twisted and all of a sudden they have a new BFF. I think it's kinda ironic how it happens.
Granted, yes, you can have more than one 'best friend' but they are more IMO a true friend or someone who will always be there for you, through thick and thin.
"A best friend is someone who knows there's something wrong even when you have the biggest smile on your face."
"...they just show on up with their big 'ole heart, you find out who your friends are."

The Sky's the Limit
I say "plans" in quotes because everyone has a plan/goal and sometimes you just never know if they really end up as you hope but as long as you set your plans/goals and eventually get there, I say good deal! Seriously, the sky is the limit when dealing with your future and what you want to become. I believe there are way too many people out there that don't give themselves enough credit for what they deserve. It doesn't matter what your last name is or where you grew up, what matters is that you set goals for yourself with the intent of reaching them! You can do anything you set your mind too. ((Just remember where you came from)) Okay, you may think I just contradicted myself by saying it doesn't matter where you grew up and then said remember where you came from. But, I promise I didn't! ;-) I just simply mean that wherever you go in life, remember who you are and the roots you came from. You build off of that. I don't really know for sure when I'll 'grow' up and get a 'real' job but when I do, and hopefully very soon, I'll always know that I'm still the sweet lil blonde haired, green-eyed country girl from Lawrenceburg, TN. I never plan to let money or my social life get in the way of who I really am.
I am happily married to the most amazing man in the entire world who takes me as I am. I have the most gorgeous baby girl growing in my belly and anxious for her to come into our world . I have two furr-babies that make me smile even when I don't want to. I am thankful everyday that I wake up and take another breath and know that without a doubt I have a wonderful support system and a beautiful life.
Justin and I have been on a bumpy road for several months now. ((those who are close to us, know exactly what I mean)) but we stand strong, and with our heads held high because we know that at the end of the day we have each other and we have God leading us in the direction HE wants us to go. I don't worry nor stress because I don't see a point in it. Everything happens for a reason and I believe that most things like this are blessings in disguise and will reveal itself soon. Life is a journey, enjoy the ride! ((with a few wrong turns, and flat tires, it's all part of the plan))
